The spam filter runs against every comment 2-12 hours after posting. It removes comments that match any of:

  • Source-account low credibility — accounts with very few prior comments, or whose prior comments cluster in patterns the filter has trained against
  • Velocity anomaly — accounts commenting at rates above natural-user thresholds (typically >20 comments/hour)
  • Content-pattern matching — comments with copy-paste fingerprints, off-topic boosting language, generic engagement-bait phrasing
  • Burst pattern on a single video — many similar-shape comments arriving inside a narrow window

What Real-tier sourcing checks

Comment-source accounts pass all of:

  • Comment history of ≥20 prior comments across ≥5 different accounts, spread over ≥30 days
  • Comment-velocity below the filter threshold (we dispatch at <10 comments/hour per source account)
  • Account-age ≥90 days with consistent engagement cadence
  • No prior comment removals on the source account in the last 30 days — accounts the filter has flagged are removed from the pool

Comment-content guardrails

Real-tier comments are written to match natural TikTok comment patterns. Three things we avoid:
